Check out the 2007 results and pictures!

Come start the celebration of the New Year right with the Wilson Hill Time Trial. Bring out your fixed or single speed (geared bikes are welcome too) and see how fast you can make it up this short lung buster climb.

There will be separate categories for fixed/single speed bikes as well as men’s and women’s categories.

Wilson Hill is about a 1 kilometer climb (.62 miles) that has around 400 feet of elevation gain. It is located around 7 miles south of Petaluma.

Start: Intersection of Hicks Valley, Marshall/ Petaluma Road and Wilson Hill at 10:30 AM

Directions: From Petaluma: Take Western Avenue out of town. Turn Left on Chileno Valley Road. Follow this road approx. 7 miles to the start.

Parking: There is no parking on Wilson Hill so do not even try it. Closest parking will be at Helen Putman Regional Park just outside of Petaluma on Chileno Valley Road. This is where awards will be presented. OR you can park near the intersection of Hicks Valley and Point Reyes Petaluma Road. You will need to ride your bike to the course which is a good warm up.

Cost: There is no cost to all good boys and girls

Prizes: Yes!

It is highly recommended that if you are using a fixed gear bike that you have brakes as the downhill is long and steep!!! Helmets Required!

The end result is you in a collapsed heap curled up crying for your mommy but with the sweet taste of victory!
The final straightaway
The starting pitch to get you warmed up ...
Up, up up....
To the first bend... you should be breathing hard by now...
You can almost see the finish line if your eyes are not crossed at this point...
Great views from the top looking towards Petaluma.
